Join us for the 17th Annual Nick & Jim Dovolis Charitable Golf Event!
This year, we have chosen to donate the proceeds of this tournament to something near and dear to both Jim and Nick: St. Mary’s Camp. Growing up, both Jim and Nick were active members of the St. Mary’s Greek Orthodox Church community, serving as altar boys and attending Sunday School. They made some of their closest friendships summer after summer at camp, and it is with great excitement that we’ll be helping kids attend and create cherished memories, just like the boys did.
About the Event
When Nick Dovolis passed away in the summer of 2008, friends and family members were eager to remember him. A charitable golf event was a fitting way to bring family and friends together to reflect on the joyful life that he led. He lived every one of his days to the fullest. Nick was loving, caring, and charismatic, giving his very best to others.
In June of 2017, Nick’s brother, Jimmy, passed away. Jim was a consummate gentleman with an infectious smile, hearty laugh, and humorous dry wit. He was empathetic, supportive, and compassionate .
We believe the two brothers, and best friends, are resting together in God’s Loving Arms.
